We are truly due for some updates, including what was supposed to be a weekly post about world issues of concern to me… Life has quite suddenly picked up speed.
Some highlights…
- I turned 25. I dyed my hair black. We had a fabulous murder mystery party. Delicious food, wine, & cake. My most favorite picture was taken.

- We went to Niagara Falls – again. It’s our favorite getaway spot, and we were blessed that Butters has a “grandma” nearby who is happy to take him so that his “parents” can have a romantic weekend!

- Butters is feeling more at home. He had kennel cough, fleas, and a few accidents, but now he’s got some pep in his step!

- My mom visited us for a long weekend. We planted mums, cooked, shopped and scored a few vintage items, walked the dog around Tremont, did some wine tastings/tours, saw 3 movies, and ate at 3 fabulous Cleveland restaurants (The Bistro on Lincoln Park, B-Spot, and Happy Dog)! (Unfortunately, my mom has all the pics except this one..)

- I start another part-time job tomorrow as the Case School of Law Administrator of the Law & Leadership Institute Program! LLI is a collaborative effort between the Supreme Court of Ohio, Ohio law schools, and urban schools to provide high school students with the skills and encouragement they need to succeed in college and eventually law school.
